The SZN Series - Advanced microscopes for laboratory and industrial applications
The stereo microscopes of the SZN series are microscopes that have been specially developed for student training as well as laboratory and industrial applications. The optical and mechanical qualities and the excellent price/performance ratio place the microscopes of the SZN series at the top of this highly demanded product category.
Since all four models of the SZN series have the same optical system with binocular or trinocular viewing and zoom lenses, they are always used when such professional microscopes are required at fair prices.
The wide range of accessories offers a wealth of possible configurations, significantly expanding the observer's flexibility.
All instruments have either binocular or trinocular heads with a 45° inclined view that can be rotated through 360°. For comfortable observations , the eye relief can be adjusted between 55 and 75 mm, and diopter adjustment is easily possible on the EWF 10x/20mm eyepieces for spectacle wearers.
In combination with the parfocal, achromatic zoom lens (image scale adjustable between 0.7x and 4.5x), which has a zoom factor of 6.428:1, all magnifications between 7x and 45x are possible.
Focusing is child's play thanks to a rack and pinion system and a pair of knobs on both sides. The working distance is 110 mm.
The models in the SZN series differ only in terms of viewing, microscope stand and lighting.
The SZN-5 has an LED disc as a transmitted light source, which ensures uniform lighting over a diameter of 100 mm. The light intensity in transmitted light is 8000L. The object is illuminated by two arms equipped with X-LEDs, which achieve a light intensity of 80000Lux. The illuminance can be adjusted using a rotary knob. The colour temperature is 6300K.
