The Asensys range from Eschenbach offers much more than meets the eye. In addition to the four models we offer, there are numerous other variants – with finely graded edge filters at 450 nm, 511 nm, 527 nm or 550 nm, each with or without polarisation filters, in two sizes, different frame shapes, as sports glasses or as discreet everyday frames. Each of these variants meets a very specific visual requirement – whether for glare protection in everyday life, for retinal diseases or for severe light sensitivity.
For clarity, our shop shows four particularly proven models in a compact XL version (small):
- Asensys 450 XL – reduces high-energy short-wave light
- Asensys 511 XL – contrast enhancement without strong darkening
- Asensys 527 XL – balanced for medium light sensitivity
- Asensys 550 XL – for maximum filter effect with high sensitivity to glare
All four models are designed as comfortable overglasses and can be worn over your prescription frames without any problems.
Eschenbach Asensys filter glasses – protection, contrast and light comfort at a medical level
Asensys filter glasses filter out short-wave, high-energy light, providing effective protection against glare both outdoors and indoors with LED or screen lighting. Thanks to the specific edge filters, the tint does not act like sunglasses, but rather like functional light protection that improves contrast and noticeably relieves strain on the eyes. Many models are also available with polarisation filters – ideal for reducing annoying reflections on water, glass or smooth surfaces.
