acunis® metal frame – relief for migraine-related light sensitivity
Light sensitivity is one of the most common side effects of migraine. The acunis® metal frame offers targeted relief thanks to specially developed comfort lenses – ideal for sufferers who are particularly sensitive to visual stimuli. The lenses filter the critical wavelength range around 484 nm, which many migraine patients find particularly disturbing.
Unlike conventional sunglasses, acunis® lenses do not cause the eyes to adjust significantly to "dark vision". This means that when you take them off, your visual perception remains stable – without any unpleasant afterglow. Integrated UV protection and road safety in accordance with DIN EN ISO 12312-1 make them a reliable companion for everyday use.
Individually selectable tint:
Available in tint levels of 25%, 50% and 75%, suitable for different levels of light sensitivity and purposes. The lenses are permanently installed in the metal frame. Alternatively, the frame is also available without lenses – ideal for fitting by specialist companies.
