Hand Zylindermikrotom

In microscopy, hand, slide or rotary microtomes are used to cut more precise slices in the range of 1 to 30 µm for the preparation of microscopic specimens.

Hand-operated microtome

• Height-adjustable round table with glass plate and ø 70 mm
• Micrometer with 1/100 mm (10 µm) graduation. One turn corresponds to 500 µm (0.50 mm) stroke
• The thinnest cut that can be achieved with the hand-operated microtome is 10 µm.
• The microtome can accommodate samples with a diameter of up to 1 cm.
