The microscope
The XDS-2FL is an inverted epifluorescence microscope, particularly suitable for the most demanding applications in routine fluorescence analysis. The XDS-2FL offers bright field and phase contrast, so it can be used in many multi-contrast applications.
Optical system
The microscope is supplied with EWF 10x/22mm extra-wide field eyepieces, long working distance IOS objectives and two filter sets (blue and green excitation). The wide range of accessories allows quick exchange of contrast instruments and is optimised for multi-contrast viewing without removing the sample from the cross table.
User-friendly
The XDS-2FL is very easy to use. The 22 mm extra-wide field of view is comfortable and reduces fatigue. The special eyepieces are also suitable for users who wear glasses.
Ergonomics
All controls are easily accessible, as all components have been designed for exceptional ease of use. Thanks to the focus and objective movement controls, the wrists can be kept on the table. The bright field brightness adjustment is located near the focus knobs. The head has an extremely innovative design that allows height adjustment.
