More about the series Wilovert...
inverted microscopes
are an indispensable tool for examining living material in many fields. However, they are also increasingly being developed into highly specialised systems for specific routine applications and individual areas of research. The Wilovert series meets this trend.
It is characterised by:
Tripods: The entire U-shaped base of the Wilovert tripods is made from a single casting, providing optimum stability. Micromanipulators can be easily adapted to any tripod in the Wilovert series.
Light sources: A 12 V/30 W halogen lamp is available as a light source, as well as HBO 100 W mercury lamps for fluorescence examinations.
Objectives: Inverted microscopes require special objectives because, unlike upright microscopes, tissue culture vessels made of different materials with different base thicknesses and different heights are used. Helmut Hund GmbH offers lenses and matching condensers with long working distances.
Condensers: The following condensers are available: Condenser NA 0.25 for transmitted light bright field with a free working distance of 58 mm Combination condenser NA 0.25 with a free working distance of 58 mm for transmitted light bright field and phase contrast Combination condenser NA 0.4 with a free working distance of 38 mm for transmitted light bright field and phase contrast
Holders for culture vessels: Frequently used culture vessels such as Petri dishes, tissue culture vessels, microtest plates and microtiter plates are inserted into special holder frames in the Wilovert series. The object guide ensures complete scanning.
