Like all our Moticam solutions, the Moticam X is an "all-in-one box" product. The MoticamX is a high-resolution WiFi streaming camera, which makes it a step above the rest. By setting up your own wireless network, you can simply log in with your Android or iOS tablet and view, record and edit live images from your microscope with our free MotiConnect app. In case your school does not allow downloading apps or you need it very quickly, the Moticam X is equipped with its own on-board software that can be easily controlled with a web browser, allowing you to capture images and take measurements. At Motic, we equip all our solutions with learning tools as standard. The Moticam X also works with a WiFi laptop running Windows XP or higher, allowing the camera to be used with our standard Motic Images Plus software so that you can use this device with your classroom's interactive whiteboard.
MoticHUB technology is integrated into our Motic Images Plus software , which converts your existing wired Moticam or digital microscope (originally equipped with Motic software) into a WiFi streaming digital solution. This free additional feature allows you to connect your digital microscope or camera to your existing WiFi PC and then stream the image through your existing network and get others to view it on their WiFi tablet or PC.

Image Analysis Software Motic Images Plus 3.0
Motic Images Plus for PC is a software suite for live microscopy imaging that aims to be at the same time professional in its features and simple in its operation. It is the result of more than a decade of close cooperation with end-users and professionals around the world.
Our multi-language interface offers several choices for either basic or more advanced image control options, filters and color correction. Measurement tools can be used both on live images as well as on captured ones, and measurement data can be exported at any time for further analysis. Video recording or time lapse capturing are other significant integrated features.
At Motic, we do our best to ensure that our Moticam cameras are compatible with the latest technology available (Windows, MAC, Linux). With our Direct Show and Twain compatibility, the Moticam cameras can also be integrated into third-party application programs.
Motic offers other software packages. Motic Assembly or Motic Multi-focus for Image Stitching and Image Stacking. MoticNet, a multi-user observation and supervision platform that gives you the option to connect up to 100 digital microscopy stations together with the supervision from the teacher's platform. Motic Trace for teaching forensic and first-level evidence processing centers.
How to connect your Moticam
Onto the trinocular tube
Attach the Moticam to the c-mount adapter and then fix it to the trinocular port. This combination will give you the
freedom to continue observing with both eyes, while having the Moticam connected. The c-mount adapter needs to be chosen according to the chip size of the camera. To ensure choosing the correct adapter don't hesitate to contact one of our specialists.
Onto the eyepiece
Simply attach the camera to the focusable macro lens and select the correct eyepiece coupler for your microscope. Once this has been done put the complete combination onto the eyepiece, and you have turned your conventional microscope into a digital microscope. This solution is also applicable for non-Motic microscopes.
Into the eyetube
Simply attach the Eyetube adapter on the Moticam. Remove an eyepiece from the microscope and replace it with the Moticam-Eyetube adapter combination. You have turned your conventional microscope into a digital microscope. The special Eyetube adapter (B&S) is optional. This solution is also applicable for non-Motic microscopes.
