With the MAGUS digital camera, you can take photos and videos through a microscope, edit the resulting files, organise presentations and measure lines and angles of objects (after correct calibration).
The SONY Exmor Backlit colour CMOS sensor allows the camera to be used even in poor lighting conditions. The image remains clear and bright.
The MAGUS digital camera has a USB 3.0 interface, ensuring that data is transferred as quickly as possible without loss or delay.
The camera can be installed in the trinocular tube of the microscope using a C-mount adaptor. Installation in an eyepiece tube is also possible and requires a C-mount adaptor and an adapter ring for the diameter of the tube.
The camera is designed for microscopes in bright field mode with lenses with 40x, 60x and 100x magnification.
The camera is equipped with a 3.1 megapixel sensor and has two resolution modes: 2048x1536 pixels (with the ability to record video at 53 frames per second) and 1024x768 pixels (85 frames per second). The frame rate in these modes is sufficient to observe moving objects, fast processes and sample movements without delays. Video recording is smooth, with no jerkiness or freezing during image transitions, and photos are clear and easy to read.
The Sony Exmor Backlit CMOS sensor and a light sensitivity of 1146 mV at 1/30 s help you to conduct productive examinations and recordings even in poor lighting conditions.
