For existing digital cameras, there is also the option of simple eyepiece adaptor adaptation. With this universal adaptor, (almost) any digital camera can be attached by placing the adaptor on the eyepiece of the microscope. The platform can be adjusted in the x and y axes and the camera can be attached to the camera's tripod thread using a screw.
