Delphi-X Observer
Ergonomic design and highly modern lenses make the Delphi-X Observer the ideal microscope for life sciences, such as cytology and pathology. The eyepiece’s 25mm visual field and the apochromatic plan lenses facilitate observations with perfect colour fidelity at high resolutions. With an inverse 6x lens revolver, a large stage with no protruding toothed rack and Gorilla glass, the Delphi-X Observer provides full flexibility. With its ergonomic design, low table, right- or left-handed controls and optional ergonomic tilt head which meets any user requirements, even long work sessions are no longer a problem.

ERGONOMIC TILTING HEAD
Trinocular head tiltable from 0 to 35° with SWF eyepieces (10x / 25 mm), interpupillary distance between 47-78 mm and phototube with standard Ø 23.2 mm. The trinocular tilting head has an optical lever to adjust the light path (100:0 / 80:20 / 0:100). Diopter ± 5 adjustments for both eyepieces.
OBJECTIVE REVOLVER
Rearward-tilted lens turret on ball bearings for six lenses with 25 mm lens thread.
LENSES
Plan semi-apochromatic PLi-Apo EIS lenses (4x/0.13; 10x/0.30; 20x/0.50; S40x/0.75; S100x/1.30 oil). All lenses are para-focal 60 mm, have an M25 mm mounting thread, are anti-fungus treated and AR (anti-reflection) coated. In addition, the 40x and 100x lenses have a spring suspension (S).
EXTENDED INFINITY SYSTEM (EIS)
The Extended Infinity System (EIS) of the Delphi-X Observer™ consists of SFWF 10x25 mm super wide-field eyepieces, parfocal lenses with high numerical aperture and a 200 mm focal length. The 200 mm focal length lens reduces the angle of the light rays passing through the optics, significantly improving the correction and contrast of chromatic aberration. The larger diameter lenses allow for much larger numerical apertures, which improve the overall resolution of the optical system.
TABLE
190 x 152 mm stage with 78 x 32 mm mechanical stage (for right-handed operation); (left-handed mechanical stage available on request). Designed for 2 slides. Supplied with scratch-resistant Gorilla glass as standard (scratch-resistant sapphire glass available on request).
FOCUS ADJUSTMENT
Coaxial coarse and fine adjustment, 100 graduations, 1 µm precision, 100 μm per revolution. Travel range approx. 35 mm. Adjustable stage stop to prevent damage to the specimen and objective. The coarse adjustment is equipped with friction control. The focusing knobs can be switched from left to right according to the user's preference.
CONDENSER FOR BRIGHT FIELD
Height-adjustable NA 0.90 / 1.25 Abbe swing-out condenser with numerical aperture markings.
LIGHTING
Diascopic 100W halogen Köhler lighting with internal 100-240 V power supply. Intensity adjustable. The diascopic halogen lighting is supplied with two push-in/push-out neutral density filters to evenly attenuate the light intensity for all types of samples.
ICARE SENSOR
The microscope lighting switches off automatically when the user moves away from the microscope.
CARRYING HANDLE
Integrated carrying handle and tool on the rear of the microscope.
Included in delivery: power cord, dust cover, 1x spare fuse, operating instructions and 5ml immersion oil.
