Phase contrast microscopes

As with all biology disciplines, the field of marine biology encompasses a broad range of requirements. This means that every possible type of microscope is required here. This ranges from good stereo microscopes with compound optics to sophisticated upright microscopes with fluorescent contrast capabilities. In between, all contrast techniques such as phase contrast and DIC are used.
